pwrkap-gui software package provides Energy use monitor and Power Cap enforcement tools - GTK+ GUI, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pwrkap-gui
pwrkap-gui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pwrkap-gui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pwrkap-gui *
You will get with pwrkap-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
